Whether due to past trauma or a perceived lack of fitness, Melee Defense Strategies understands that classroom or large group environments may not be an ideal place for some to receive self-defense training. Others may simply want an added push or more specific training. Scott Warren is an honorably discharged military veteran with several deployments under his belt; including, the far and middle east. He is a graduate of the US Military’s Ground Combat School and spent additional time at the Warfare Center. Since, Scott has dedicated much of his adult life to further honing skills in order to positively impact and empower the communities in which he serves.

He currently holds a blackbelt in Krav Maga and is an advanced certified instructor in the discipline across multiple curriculums. He frequently seeks training within the US and also travels to Israel in order to further his skill-sets under some of Israel’s most elite Military Krav Maga Instructors. As a result, he is recognized as a Worldwide Affiliate Instructor for Krav Maga Israel in Tel-Aviv, Israel. In the USA, Scott continues to be a leading combat tactics/hand-to-hand combat instructor and is the instructor of choice for the elite tactical training company Ghost Ring Tactical in San Antonio, New Mexico. Here, Scott has had the opportunity to train members of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, active US military personnel and members of critical corporate security teams.
